WHO WE ARE
We’re a team of teenagers who discovered how powerful connection can be when the world felt distant. In 2023, we began by playing music in the senior homes, delivering handmade cards, and bringing joy to our neighborhood. From these simple steps, Gen-Bridgeway has grown into a community of over 400 volunteers, devoting more than 800 hours to bring generations together. Every year, we seek new ways to bridge differences, create smiles, and remind one another that we belong.
Executive Director
Wynn Huang
Wynn is a competitive debater and Latin enthusiast who believes deeply in the timeless power of connection. With a desire to bridge generational gaps, he co-founded Gen Bridgeway and has worked with peers to organize concerts in senior homes, create storytelling challenges that encouraged youth to collect family memories, and mobilize volunteers to bring joy to seniors across the community. Wynn makes it a practice to lead by serving first, believing in lifting others up and creating space where everyone belongs.
Director of Marketing
Nicholas Sossaman
Nicholas Sossaman is an entrepreneur with multiple side hustles, including AI projects, ad creation, reselling clothes and shoes, and dog walking. Beyond business, he is passionate about music theory and is developing his own songs while performing on guitar and vocals. Using his marketing skills, Nicholas hopes to expand Gen Bridgeway’s reach, bridging the gap between generations. He hopes to support his co-officers, while also learning through this opportunity.
Director of Finance
Michael Hu
As a competitive speaker ranked in the top 1% nationally by STOA, NSDA, and the VFW, Michael seeks to use the skills he built to help connect generations. After his experience with being a Fundraising Team Lead for North Valley United as well as Scouting America Troop 170, Michael would love to use the skills and lessons he learned to help Gen Bridgeway attain the funding they need to continue their missions.

Holly Sossaman
Holly Sossaman is a compassionate high school student with strong organizational skills. She coordinates community initiatives such as delivering care packages to seniors, and preparing meals for families with hospitalized children. Holly is eager to building meaningful intergenerational connections with her skills, reliability, initiative, and team-oriented mindset.
Director of Technology
Zephan Calhoun
Zephan is a curious young man who has a thirst for experimentation. He has always been interested in machinery and technology, for example creating a miniature lawn mower when he was 8 years old. Now, he enjoys serving on his church's tech team, figuring out how to grow vegetables and fruits, and singing with the Silicon Valley Boychoir. He is excited about providing cross generational help through music and technology.
