This past weekend, over 200 handwritten cards created by a group of committed young volunteers were sent to elderly individuals living in care facilities across the country. These cards, filled with messages of love, warmth, and encouragement, are a small but meaningful gift to celebrate Grandparents' Day with our seniors.

This mailing marked an important milestone for us—bringing the total to 1,350 cards written for seniors, along with over 5 musical recitals performed, touching more than 1,500 lives during the 2023-24 season. Over 100 people volunteered for our projects over this period, all driven by a shared passion to bridge the generational divide.

As we look ahead to our 2024-25 season this fall, we are excited to continue building these connections with a new team. Our upcoming "Timeless Tale Intergenerational Interview Challenge" will invite young people to connect with seniors, uncovering stories that span generations and capture cultural legacies. This initiative represents our mission to bridge the gap between the young and the old, creating a deeper understanding and appreciation for each other’s experiences.
